Jaguars waive Winston Guy

JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars made another change to their defense on Monday by waiving third-year safety Winston Guy and promoting rookie Craig Loston to the active roster.

The team benched Guy on Sunday against the Chargers in favor of Josh Evans. Guy played one snap and gave up a long touchdown to Eddie Royal. Guy started the season as the Jaguars free safety, but struggled in coverage situations.

Loston signed with the Jaguars as an undrafted rookie free agent. He spent the first month of the season bouncing back and forth between the practice squad and active roster. Loston made his NFL debut week 2 in Washington.
