JACKSONVILLE -

Jacksonville University has reached an agreement with Tony Jasick to take over as head coach of the basketball program, according to the Florida Times Union.

The 36-year-old Jasick comes to JU after three seasons as head coach at Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne. This season, he led his squad to 25 wins and was named the national mid-major Coach of the Year.

Jasick will take over for Cliff Warren, who was fired after nine seasons with the program where he posted a record of 126-150.
