A beautiful week at Sawgrass culminates on Mother's Day, and has become tradition, many of the fans and pros will don pink in honor of their mothers and to support the Donna Foundation to End Breast Cancer.

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -

For the final round of The Players, many fans at TPC Sawgrass and many golfers will be wearing pink in honor of Mother's Day.

It has become an annual tradition to "pink out" The Players on Championship Sunday.

This year, for every fan that wears pink to the tournament, The Players will make a donation to 26.2 with Donna, the charity of the day. Last year on Sunday of tournament week, a $20,000 donation was earned.

"It's so wonderful of The Players to do what they're doing," Donna Deagan said. "As you know, we're working on bench-top breast cancer research and helping the undeserved with breast cancer, so if we get a record crowd out here this weekend, we get record dollars from The Players."

The day began early with a non denominational church service at 7 a.m. for fans.

TPC Sawgrass is also offering breakfast from 8:00-10:30 a.m. and brunch from 11:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. inside the clubhouse.

Anyone wishing to make a reservation for breakfast or brunch must have a clubhouse ticket.
