The Ribault Lady Trojans never trailed in winning their 10th state basketball championship Wednesday night over Dunbar 72 -53.

The Trojans scored the game first four points and led 18-13 after the first quarter. Dunbar would get no closer to the lead the rest of the night.

The Trojans trademark press defense forced 30 Lady Tigers turnovers.

Jatavia Tapley led Ribault with 19 points. Sierra Shepard added 13 while Kayla Rogers, Rennia Davis and DayNeisha Banks each chipped in 10 points.

The Trojans finish the season 30-5. It is their second consecutive state championship.
