The Sharks watched a two-score lead slip away in a 58-48 loss to the Predators as Jacksonville fell to 4-8 on the season.

Jacksonville jumped out to a 20-7 lead early in the second quarter before Orlando stormed back to take a 28-27 lead at the half. The Sharks had an opportunity to retake the lead heading into the locker room, but missed a 35-yard field goal as time expired.

In the loss, RJ Archer completed 25 of his 38 passes for 348 yards, six touchdowns and no interceptions. Maurice Williams, playing in just his second game with the Sharks, set a team season high with 199 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Jacksonville sits two games out of the final playoff spot in the American Conference. They are on the road next Saturday, June 21st, against the New Orleans Voodoo.
