The Sharks allowed 14 points in the final nine seconds of the first half in a 56-35 loss to the Tampa Bay Storm. Jacksonville has now lost five of its last six games and it appears a fifth straight south division title is now out of reach.

With Jacksonville trailing 28-21, Randy Hippeard found T.T. Tolliver for the touchdown with one second remaining in the second quarter as the Storm extended its lead to 35-21. On the ensuing kickoff, Jomo Wilson misplayed the ball off the bar and Tampa Bay recovered in the end zone for another touchdown.

R.J. Archer finished with 271 yards and five touchdowns on 27 of 48 passing. Jeron Harvey hauled in twelve catches for 114 yards and three touchdowns.

The Sharks now enter their second bye week of the season. They are back at home on June 7th at 3:00 to take on the Spokane Shock.
