UNF falls at ETSU

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -

Hunter Harris scored 24 points Thursday night and East Tennessee State made 32 of 33 free throws in a 99-93 victory over North Florida.
   
The teams played back-and-forth until Rashawn Rembert made a 3-pointer with 8:06 left that gave the Buccaneers the lead for good at 70-68. That 3 also sparked a 16-2 run over the next 3 minutes that ended with an 83-70 ETSU advantage.
   
Rembert finished with 22 points, Kinard Gadsden-Gilliard scored 19 and Jalen Riley added 18 for ETSU (10-10, 3-4 Atlantic Sun).
   
UNF dropped to 0-9 all-time when playing at ETSU's MSHA Athletic Center despite getting a career-high 28 points from Beau Beech. Beech also had seven rebounds and set a career best with eight 3-pointers.
   
The Ospreys (3-15, 1-4) used a 12-4 run to close within 87-82 with 2:02 left, but the Bucs made their free throws while UNF missed its next two 3-pointers.
