Warrick Dunn named to 2015 ACC Class of Legends

Dunn holds FSU's career records for rushing yards and touchdowns

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Former Florida State running back Warrick Dunn has been named to the 2015 Atlantic Coast Conference Class of Football Legends. Dunn, who starred for the Seminoles from 1993-1996, joins a star studded t class that includes Pitt running back Tony Dorsett, Georgia Tech coach Bobby Ross and Miami running back Clinton Portis.

Dunn wasted no time making his presence felt in Tallahassee. He earned Freshman All-American honors and helped FSU to its first national championship in 1993. Dunn would finish his FSU career with three 1,000-yard rushing season and to this date is the only Seminole in school history to eclipse the 1,000 yard rushing mark in multiple seasons. Dunn also holds the school record for touchdowns (49) and career rushing yards (3,959). Upon leaving Florida State, Dunn had a 12-year NFL career with Tampa Bay and Atlanta. He had five 1,000-yard rushing seasons and nearly 11,000 career rushing yards.

The 2015 ACC Football Legends will be honored on the field prior to the start of the ACC Football Championship game on Dec. 5.
