A double rainbow in between the showers and sunshine on Tuesday.

Spring begins this year under mostly cloudy skies with dropping temperatures during the day.  A low pressure development along a cold front brings chances for showers also.  Average Highs for March 19th for Jacksonville reach 74° while average lows dip to 50°.  Jacksonville typically gets 0.12" of rain on the first day of Spring as well.

The high temperature for Wednesday may very well be reached during the morning hours, as chilly Northwesterly winds may be sustained as high as 15mph, with gusts of up to 23mph.  Cloudy skies are expected, and temperatures may only be as warm as the mid to upper 60's, and then drop into the 50's by the afternoon hours as cooler air continues to flow into our area.

Scattered chances for passing showers are expected as well.  Expect 60% coverage of showers in the Jacksonville area.  Rainfall amounts across Northeast Florida are expected to range between a quarter of an inch and half an inch.  Some isolated areas may see up to an inch of rain.  Southeast Georgia is expected to receive a quarter of an inch or less of rain on Wednesday.  The rain should end abruptly by midnight Wednesday night.

Early Thursday morning the skies clear as much cooler air rushed into the Southeast.  Temperatures will dip into the mid to upper 30's early Thursday morning.  No frost is expected due to gusty, strong winds.  Those same winds will prompt wind chill temperatures close to freezing by sunrise.  Expect a much cooler than average Thursday with clear skies, no chance for rain, and high temperatures struggling to reach the mid 60's.

Thursday evening. the cooler trend continues, and deepens.  Overnight lows early Friday morning dip to the mid to low 30's, and frost is possible, primarily for inland locations.

Friday, expect partly cloudy skies and temperatures reaching the upper 60's for afternoon highs.  Clouds return Friday night ahead of significant chances for rain over the weekend and cool temperatures.
