Storms fade Sunday night

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Sunday afternoon's storms brought dime to quarter size hail, wind gusts peaking around 50mph, and several reports of trees and powerlines down. The storms prompted five Severe Thunderstorm Warnings between 3:00pm and 6:30pm.

The storms become more isolated and begin to fade after sunset. They should completely die out by midnight.

Overnight the temperatures fall into the low 70's under mostly cloudy skies. Monday begins a tad on the muggy side. Monday's forecast holds increasing chances for afternoon showers as the temperatures rise.
