JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – November's wild weather ride continues! Up next? Weather Alert Today, Tuesday, as moderate to heavy rains roll into Jacksonville. Heavy rains are already occurring through parts of South Georgia and North Florida. These will expand into Jacksonville later this morning. They won't be continuous, but pulse from light rains to heavy downpours.
Since Sunday, rainfall amounts have been heavy and concentrated in Georgia, where a number of locations have already seen 4" of rain in South Georgia! As you can see from these two rainfall forecast models, we could see another 1-2" of rain, this time more concentrated around and south of Jacksonville.
