JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Jacksonville Fire and Rescue is trying to figure out what started a fire in the attic of an Arlington home Tuesday morning.

According to JFRD, before 6 a.m. firefighters were called to a home on Abbeyfield Drive in the Katherine Abbey subdivision in reference to a fire.

When firefighters arrived, they saw smoke coming from the attic.

JFRD said the home was unoccupied and up for sale and that the electricity was still on in the home.

JFRD was able to quickly contain the fire to the attic, but the home sustained some smoke damage.

No one was in the home at the time and no injuries were reported.

JFRD said it may have been an electrical fire, but they're still investigating the cause.
