Bay Street reopened after suspicious material found

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Bay Street reopened after being closed from Broad to Davis streets downtown Thursday afternoon after a suspicious material was found in the roadway.

Police said the same material was found in the Skyway terminal in front of the Prime Osborn Convention Center. The terminal was closed, but the Skyway remained operational.

The roads and terminal reopened about 3:25 p.m.
