JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It's been nearly a week since Daniel Rowe was shot and killed while taking out the trash behind the Blind Rabbit restaurant in Riverside and police are still searching for two suspects.
Daniel Rowe's fiancée said that the days since he was killed outside the Riverside restaurant have seemed like months. She said she's trying to stay strong for her daughters, but that it has been a roller coaster of emotions.

Britney Rowin said that one of the hardest things for her is knowing that her two children and a third that is on the way will never know how much their father loved them.

"This baby is never going to get to meet him. My other two children, they might not remember him, but at least they got to be a part of him, to be around him," Rowin said.
Rowin said that she has been back to The Blind Rabbit since the shooting. She said that she has talked to the workers there and many of them are friends of her's. But she said that going into the alley where the shooting happened is difficult. She said the one thing that makes it a little easier is the memorial that is still set up outside the restaurant.

"It actually is very comforting to know that he can touch so many people when he's not with us anymore," Rowin said.
But she said that it still doesn't feel real.
"I was supposed to be with him for the rest of my life. We were supposed to be life partners. We have two kids together, the biggest piece that I could possibly have in my life," she said.
Rowin said that so far they haven't had a lot of new information from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office as they investigate the shooting and try to find Rowe's killer. She said that she wants anyone who knows something to come forward.
"They need to know what they've done. They need to know how many people they've hurt. They need to know what they've taken away," Rowin said.
Rowe's funeral will be held Saturday morning and they will have a celebration of life at The Blind Rabbit afterwards.
