A jury found a 21-year-old guilty Friday afternoon in the 2011 shooting death of a 22-year-old man, state attorneys said.

Kenneth Arthur Wilson III was convicted on charges of first-degree murder and armed robbery.

In July 2011, Wilson and Aaron Nolley went to Cody Lee Griffin's west side home to rob him of money and marijuana, according to the state attorney's office.

During the robbery, Wilson fired multiple shots at Griffin, striking him in the chest, neck and forehead. Authorities said Wilson and Nolley fled the scene.

Nolley pleaded guilty to charges of second-degree murder and armed robbery, and was sentenced to 50 years in prison, state attorneys said.

Wilson now faces life in prison. Authorities said he will be sentenced the week of Sept. 15.
