Westside dollar store robber sought

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police in Jacksonville are trying to identify a man who robbed a Dollar General store Friday morning.

Police said the man went into the store at 6360 103rd St. about 10:45 a.m. and followed the store manager as she walked behind the cashier's counter.

Police said the man demanded money from the cash drawer as he pointed a knife at the woman, who gave him cash. The man then fled the store and was seen getting into the driver's side of a silver Toyota extended cab pickup.

The robber is described as a white man in his 40s. He was wearing a baseball cap, white T-shirt, blue jeans, and was armed with large silver bladed knife.
