Sketch of killer released in August homicide

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Police in Jacksonville on Wednesday released a sketch and description of a man they said shot and killed another man in August.

Donald Brown, 42, was found with a gunshot wound to the chest Aug. 30 in the 2100 block of Hubbard Street in Springfield. He died at a hospital.

A witness described the shooter as a white man in his 40s to early 50s, with a slim build, short blond or brown hair, 6 feet 1 inch tall and 180 pounds. He was wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone who has any information about the man's identity is asked to call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
